The 2025 Devonport Pickleball Grand Slam delivered an exceptional weekend of competition, community, and growth for the sport in Tasmania. With 186 players, new event formats, and standout performances from competitors aged 12 to 82, the tournament showcased inclusivity, family spirit, and the increasing strength of pickleball across the state.

Tasmania’s Ange Green Achieves Outstanding Results at the 2025 Pickleball World Cup

Ange Green has returned from the 2025 Pickleball World Cup in Fort Lauderdale with an incredible set of results, including three IPT medals and a historic win over the USA in World Cup pool play. Competing against 68 nations, Ange helped Australia secure equal wins with the eventual gold and silver medallists, narrowly missing the playoffs by just four points. Her performance and dedication highlight an exceptional achievement for both herself and the Australian team.
