New Era Begins: Statewide Teams Championship Announced

Tasmania’s inaugural Statewide Teams Championship begins April 18 at Westbury, featuring four drafted teams: Pickle-Dilly Circus, Mental as Anything, Court Jesters and Wizards. Designed to bridge club and national competitions, the series promises high-energy, team-based action as players build momentum toward finals and statewide bragging rights.

Tasmanian Pickleball Championships 2026

History was made at this year’s Championships — the largest pickleball event ever held in Tasmania. With 450+ competitors (165 interstate), ages 12–87, and 1,500 matches across 87 events, the courts were buzzing. Players came from every Australian state to Hobart, plus the UK, US and NZ. Behind it all stood an incredible team of volunteers, referees and organisers who made this landmark event possible.

Tasmania’s Ange Green Achieves Outstanding Results at the 2025 Pickleball World Cup

Ange Green has returned from the 2025 Pickleball World Cup in Fort Lauderdale with an incredible set of results, including three IPT medals and a historic win over the USA in World Cup pool play. Competing against 68 nations, Ange helped Australia secure equal wins with the eventual gold and silver medallists, narrowly missing the playoffs by just four points. Her performance and dedication highlight an exceptional achievement for both herself and the Australian team.
